The Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice (IQA) is designed for individuals responsible for internally quality assuring assessment processes within a training or workplace environment.
This qualification replaces the legacy V1 and D34 Internal Verifier awards and provides learners with the knowledge and practical skills required to monitor, review and improve assessment practices, ensuring consistency and compliance across assessors.
This is a flexible e-learning course, allowing learners to start at any time and progress at their own pace.
Learners are supported throughout with online learning materials, assignments and one-to-one tutor support. Most learners complete the qualification within 6 months.
This course is ideal for individuals responsible for monitoring and quality assuring assessment processes within a training provider or organisation.
Yes, learners must be aged 19 or over and have access to assessors and learners in order to carry out internal quality assurance activities. You must also have support from a qualified IQA.
Assessment is completed through a portfolio of evidence, including written assignments and the completion of at least four internal quality assurance reports.
Learners receive access to the MyKademy Learning Management System, which contains course materials, assignments and supporting reference resources.
