DESCRIPTION
This Course is aimed at banksman and yardsman responsible for directing reversing vehicles and loading and unloading goods from vehicles.

AIMS
By the end of the course all delegates will have:
- Knowledge and understanding of the roles of the vehicle driver and the banksman/reversing assistant in reversing operations
- Ability to identify of areas of danger within sites
- An understanding of the key issues arising out of reversing and manoeuvring
- Ability to identify areas of danger for reversing vehicles
COURSE CONTENT
- Reversing or manoeuvring vehicles by signals either individually or as a team
- HGV reversing operations carried out in a competent way
- Reducing risk of injury to staff and members of the public]
- Reducing vehicle and property damage caused by reversing vehicles
CERTIFICATION
Upon successful completion of the course, candidates will be awarded with an attendance certificate by Compass Management Solutions.
