Your induction and introduction to your qualification
Some reading material followed by questions you need to answer
What documents you need to upload
Your site visit requirements

Your Assessor gets in touch within 7-10 days of your enrolment and will then give you feedback on how you’re doing each step of the way, until your completion.

There are five different pathways for this qualification:

General For any construction professional with management responsibilities

Buying For Buying or Procurement Managers

Planning For Planning Managers

Quantity Surveying For those in a Quantity Surveying management role

Estimating For Estimating Managers

Whichever pathway you select, the core units will include:

Chair meetings and take decisions in construction contracting operations management
Develop and maintain working relationships and personal development in construction contracting operations management
Maintain health, safety and welfare system in construction contracting operations management
Plan, allocate and monitor work in own area of responsibility

Unlike most qualifications, this NVQ takes place mainly at work and you can decide how long it takes you to complete – most experienced Managers complete within 2 to 3 months.

To enrol onto this course you must:

Be over 19 years old
Currently be in a construction management role, or a role with management duties for a construction company
Working in mainland England

[/et_pb_accordion_item][et_pb_accordion_item title=”How long will it take to complete?” _builder_version=”4.16″ global_colors_info=”{}” open=”off”]This depends on each individual. The average completion for a Level 6 is 3-6 months. You are supported by your Assessor for twelve months after which you will be dormant on our system – but you have up to three years to compete your qualification.

[/et_pb_accordion_item][et_pb_accordion_item title=”How long will I need to wait for my certificate?” _builder_version=”4.16″ global_colors_info=”{}” open=”off”]The certificates are sent from NOCN and can take up to 10 working days. We will email you an electronic copy of the certificate as soon as we receive it and send the hard copy in the post.
