Additional Information<\/strong><\/p>\n The OGUK safety standard lays down certain requirements which must be met, including:<\/p>\n Safety is the number one priority for the oil & gas industry and the medical examination plays a part in that. It gives protection to the individuals receiving certification and \u2013 by extension \u2013 reduces risk for their fellow offshore team members who often rely on them to carry out their job properly and safely.<\/p>\n For emergency response teams (ERT) in oil and gas, a higher level of fitness is a must. They are often required to deal with acute or life-threatening situations.
