DELIVERY\u00a0<\/strong> Online<\/p>\n COURSE AWARD(S)<\/strong> Level 3 Safety, Health and Environment Technician, NEBOSH National General Certificate (optional), IOSH Environment for Business<\/p>\n DURATION\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>Typically 24 months, excluding End Point Assessment<\/p>\n SUMMARY<\/strong>\u00a0 The occupation covered by this standard is that of a Health & Safety Advisor or SHE Technician role \u2013 who is usually part office based and part at the workface.\u00a0 A SHE Technician will assist to develop, review and check on the implementation of safe systems of work, deliver training (eg toolbox talks and inductions), PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIP<\/strong>\u00a0 Learners will join IOSH<\/a> as a student member and develop their skills to achieve Technical membership upon completion of their course.<\/p>\n COURSE STRUCTURE<\/strong><\/p>\n MODULE 1\u00a0 Management of health and safety at work<\/p>\n MODULE 2\u00a0 Environmental Management<\/p>\n MODULE 3\u00a0 Risk Assessment<\/p>\n MODULE 4\u00a0 Working Relationships<\/p>\n End Point Assessment<\/p>\n INTAKE DATES<\/strong>\u00a0 January, May and September every year.<\/p>\n [\/et_pb_tab][et_pb_tab title=”ENTRY REQUIREMENTS” _builder_version=”4.16″ global_colors_info=”{}”]<\/p>\n Individual employers will set their own selection criteria for this apprenticeship. Typically an apprentice might be expected to have achieved or working towards 5 GCSEs A* to C including English and Maths as well as having knowledge to Level 1 equivalent for commonly used office computer applications.<\/p>\n [\/et_pb_tab][et_pb_tab title=”DETAILS” _builder_version=”4.19.1″ global_colors_info=”{}”]<\/p>\n A SHE Technician will engage with all aspects of the organisation to support the embedment of a culture that ensures that everyone is able to return to their family Click here<\/a> for a full copy of the apprenticeship standard, including the knowledge skills and behaviour that will be met throughout the programme.<\/p>\n Students will have the option at the end of their qualification to take the NEBOSH General Certificate exam.
