This one-day training course introduces learners to the concepts of mental health, mental ill health and wellbeing. It aims to provide learners with an understanding that all individuals have mental health and how they may be able to support others. The qualification also provides learners with an understanding of how to self-manage their own mental health and wellbeing.

By the end of the training, learners will:
- Know what is meant by mental health and mental ill health
- Know how to take care of own mental health and wellbeing
- Know how to provide support to family and friends for their mental health and wellbeing
- Know sources of support for mental health and wellbeing
Upon successful completion of a 30-minute multiple-choice assessment, a certificate will be issued by Highfield Qualifications.

Our training center in Chorley is fully accessible with the main training room located on the ground floor. There is a wheelchair accessible toilet on the ground floor and a wheelchair accessible lift to the first floor.
