This Level 4 Certificate in Leading the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice qualification for Lead IQAs replaces the V1 or D34 Internal Verifier awards. This course is designed for those people who evaluate the internal assessment process, monitor and review internal assessments and lead internal quality assurance activities. The course will consist of professional discussion, evidence of observing assessors, leading the IQA activities and sampling portfolio’s at certain periods of the assessment process.
The course is made up of the following units:
- Understanding the Principles and Practices of Internally Assuring the Quality of Assessment
- Internally Assure the Quality of Assessments
- Plan Allocate and Monitor Work in own area of responsibility
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
There are no formal examinations to this qualification and no entry requirements, but you must be able to demonstrate occupational competence and qualifications in your sector. You must also be in a position to internally quality assure the assessment process from within a centre or organisation and have access to a qualified IQA to mentor you through the program.
HOW WILL I BE ASSESSED?
Each qualification will start with a one to one planning session, followed by a full days workshop on the dates shown.
You will complete a portfolio of evidence which will be assessed by your IQA Assessor. You will also complete a range of tasks including observations, written questions and a professional discussion.
