The course is made up of presentations, question and answer sessions, activities and projects.Ā End of course assessment is a scenario based Open Book Exam completed at home. It will take around 8 hours and you have 48 hours to complete the assessment and return it to NEBOSH.Ā The tutor will support the learnerās knowledge and understanding by classroom and individual discussion.

Why can I only see one date for In-person classroom and Online Classroom learning options?
Our In-person Hybrid Classroom courses and our Virtual Online Classroom courses run in tandem with each other, so will always fall on the same dates.

Attendance commitments
Classroom learning takes place over 10 days. Due to our extensive background in the construction industry, we know that those who have health & safety responsibilities in construction are usually very busy people! For this reason, we break up the 10 day course into two weeks (usually with a break in between) consisting of 5 days of study.

What if I cannot attend all of the course dates?
Relax – Compass design their Online and In-Person Classroom courses to be as flexible as possible. If you know in advance any course dates you will miss, simply inform our admin team who will give you early access to the Compass eLearning Portal before your chosen course dates. The tutor will then be in touch to let you know what you will need to study beforehand in order to catch up on anything missed. Many students appreciate how easy it is to fit Compass courses around their life, and have found access to the Compass eLearning Portal to be a valuable additional resource.

There are no specific entry requirements for this course.Ā NEBOSH recommend that delegates have a minimum standard of English, as they must be able to understand and communicate the concepts in the course content, and complete the written exam and practical assessment. Delegates should have a basic knowledge of health and safety, and an understanding of what happens in their workplace. The information you will need to know for the practical assessment and the exams will be covered in the course.

Online and In-person Classroom learners can pay in 2, 3, or 6 instalments, as long as the final payment is made before you take the exam.Ā Please call our admin team who can set this up for you.Ā Please note there is an additional admin fee of Ā£50 added to the first instalment for this option.
