This half day Asbestos Awareness training course has been designed to give those working in the construction industry or with responsibility for maintenance of existing buildings an awareness of asbestos legislation and risks.

By the end of the course all delegates will have:
- Knowledge of current legislation associated with asbestos
- Employer and employee responsibilities
- General awareness of asbestos within the working environment
- Possible locations of asbestos and ACMs within building stock and installations
- Avoiding risk of exposure
- Required action on discovery
- Methods of control, removal and disposal
- Identification of industry trade associations
