Gary M (aged 60), Level 4 Fire Safety Inspector Apprentice
“I have a supportive employer who has given me as much time as required to progress with this Accelerated Apprenticeship. Working in a Grade 1 listed building has it’s complex issues, however, this has given me a different perspective when dealing with fire safety. I am a health & safety advisor and have my Nebosh Fire & Risk Management, which has given me a head start with this qualification. We currently have a new hotel build in progress and I have been involved with this and am keen to be a part of the installation of the fire strategy installation.”
Gary J (aged 52), Level 3 Safety, Health & Environment Technician Apprentice
“No two days are the same when working as a health and safety officer within a busy acute hospital. Every aspect of health and safety is embedded somewhere within the site and a multitude of challenging situations can arise. Being an apprentice has given me the opportunity to develop my skills within Health and Safety industry and gain confidence in the role while undertaking the daily issues which require attention throughout the day.”
Daniel (aged 34), Level 4 Fire Safety Inspector Apprentice
“Currently I am able to get large amounts of my daily work done. This is made much easier as my employer allocates me a set amount of time to complete my apprenticeship tasks. I can also plan my apprenticeship around my working day.”
