How Mike Became the Best Mentor He Could Be With Compass
“Having worked for 13 years for ONE STOP HIRE Ltd in various technical roles I was delighted to be offered the position of Apprentice Training Manager at our purpose built apprentice Training Facility in Wigan, tasked with the mentoring of a new intake of construction plant maintenance trainees for a 24 month off the job training programme,
Having enjoyed a long career in plant maintenance I felt having the chance to pass this knowledge on to our future One Stop Hire engineers would be a massive reward in itself. To be confident that I could be the most effective mentor possible, I felt it essential to enrol on the Level 3 Education and Training course provided by Compass Skills Training. I thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of the course and must say the encouragement and support I received during each module from my mentor Sue and other staff at Compass was exceptional. Being properly equipped for the role is a massive confidence booster, Thanks again Compass Skills Training.”
