We are pleased to introduce Adam Postlethwaite as our new Program Lead for our Level 3 and 4 Fire Apprenticeships and Skills for Justice Courses.
Adam comes from a fire services background, having previously been a station manager and a training manager with Greater Manchester Fire & Rescue Service. He has had the opportunity to be part of the working group that contributed to the revision of the Competence Framework for Fire Safety Regulators.
For the last 6 years, he has been writing, developing and delivering Fire Safety courses with his focus being on creating practitioners who know ‘how’ to do the role not just ‘understand’ how to do it. Some of his other professional achievements include being the winner of the NFCC Protection Awards 2023 “Outstanding contribution” award and Manager of the Protection Training team that won the “Team” award, as well as sitting on the working group for SFJ Awards Fire Safety courses.
We’re really proud to welcome Adam to the team and are confident that our valued learners and employers from industries including emergency services, facilities management and housing associations will benefit from his extensive knowledge and experience in this sector.
Adam will be focused on delivering the following training courses and programmes:
Adam is also the host of the Where There’s Smoke Podcast, the first episode is available to listen to on Spotify now!
