- Apply to become a Certified Member of IOSH (CertIOSH)
- Apply for a full membership with the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (MIIRSM)
- Be exempt from sitting the ASP exam with the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) if all other requirements are met, which can lead to CSP membership.
- Be eligible for Canadian Registered Safety Technician (CRST) certification upon completion of an examination.
- You could apply for an internal promotion.
- Be more likely to interview for higher-paying jobs.
