Compass are very pleased to welcome Andy Banks as our new H&S consultancy manager. Andy has worked with Compass for the past few years as a consultant, NVQ assessor and trainer and is now taking over the day-to-day management of the consultancy side of Compass.
Andy started his career as a Stonemason apprentice working on different projects involving stonework throughout Cumbria and Lancashire, and since then has worked in different areas of construction and civil engineering becoming a project manager for Lancashire County Council before deciding to focus on health and safety.
Andy will be working with our existing consultancy team to provide ongoing consultancy and advice to all our clients. We are currently working on a portal which will allow access to electronic copies of documentation, including policies, risk assessments, audits and templates.
Andy Banks commented: “I look forward to my new role within Compass and want to ensure our clients receive a service that gives our clients peace of mind that their health and safety needs are covered and allows them to focus on building their business and providing their service safely and within leglislation.”
