Compass are able to offer the following testing methods for COVID-19 to keep your workers and others safe and to enable your business to continue functioning.
COVID PCR tests (PCR-RNA SARS-CoV-2) £125
The RT- PCR (Reverse Transcriptase Polymerase Chain Reaction) Antigen tests for Covid-19 allows businesses to detect if any employee in their workplace has the virus in their system at the point of which the test is administered.
The test consists of a throat and nasal swab which is then analysed at our lab. Testing for employees can either be self-administered by employees themselves or conducted by one of our technicians. Once you have returned the swabs back to our labs, we will handle all the rest, and you will receive your results within 24 hours after submitting the swabs to be tested.
COVID Point-of-Care (POC) Rapid tests £49
The test takes 15 minutes to provide a positive or negative result detecting the COVID-19 virus in both asymptomatic and symptomatic individuals.Rapid or point-of care testing is a good option for testing large numbers of people quickly. If positive, employers can take immediate steps to ensure that the virus is contained and not allowed to spread within the business.
The test consists of a nasal swab and is carried out by one of our technicians. The tests can be done at one of our clinics in Chorley or at your premises. If the result is positive you are advised to confirm the result with a laboratory PCR test and to self-isolate.
COVID-19 IgG / IgM Antibody Test (SARS-CoV-2) £49
The antibody test detects COVID-19 antibodies which indicate if someone has had COVID-19.
The test consists of a blood test taken by one of our technicians. The sample is them sent to our laboratory for analysis and the results are emailed. The test should be taken 20+ days from the onset of symptoms or exposure.
