We understand that every individual and business is worried about how the Coronvirus Pandemic will affect activities during the coming weeks and months. Rest assured that while Compass are following every piece of advice and guidance from the government and World Health Organisation; at the same time we want to make sure that our essential services to individuals and employers remains unaffected. Our team is working from home and ready to take your calls and emails so please be assured of our continued support. For specific details of how we are handling each service please see below:
Consultancy Services
Despite the closure of the office, the consultancy team will be working from home and our service will continue as usual using emails, skype and telephone calls. There will be no disruptions and safety advisers and consultants will be available as usual.
NVQ Learners
All of our Assessors are still available for telephone and online support as many people continue their qualification online. Some face to face assessment visits may need to be rescheduled or done electronically. Our customer support team is on hand should you wish to call us.
Training Courses
The health and wellbeing of our staff, learners, clients and the wider community is our first concern at Compass. With this in mind, we have made the decision to close our training centre and the ITC centre at Compass House for 30 days from 5pm on 20/03/2020. Some face to face courses are being rescheduled and candidates notified. Elearning is being provided as an alternative in most cases. While the government’s current advice is to avoid large gatherings, where workplace learning needs to be done face to face, we can deliver bespoke course for groups of 6 from the same workplace. Specific risk assessments for each day will be carried out to ensure effective infection control procedures are adhered to. Staff will be working from home to support clients during this time.
Medical
The Medical Clinic at Compass House will be closed for regular appointments, however if you have any urgent requirements or if you would like to plan future medicals or need advice on occupational health issues please do not hesitate to contact us.
We may experience busy periods that could affect telephone answering so we recommend you contact us by email wherever possible. Follow us on Facebook to stay updated.
