IOSH Managing Safely ®
The IOSH Managing Safely ® course is designed for managers and supervisors within any sector and is made up of practical step-by-step guidance on how to manage safely, with a sharp business focus. The course is held over 3 days and is accredited by IOSH, the Institute of Occupational Health and Safety,
The course is made up of presentations, case studies, question and answer sessions, videos and quizzes. In order to successfully complete the course, there is a project that needs to be carried out and a multiple-format assessment paper at the end of the course. The Tutor will support candidates knowledge and understanding by classroom and individual discussion.
IOSH will issue successful delegates the Managing Safely ® certificate.
The IOSH Managing Safely ® course covers:

The IOSH Managing Safely course can be organised for a minimum of 6 learners at £545 + vat per person.
It is recommended that delegates have a minimum standard of English, as they must be able to understand and communicate the concepts in the course content, and complete the written multiple-format assessment paper and the project. Delegates should have a basic knowledge of health and safety, and an understanding of what happens in their workplace. The information you will need to know for the project and the multiple-format assessment paper will be covered in the course.

Our training centre in Chorley is fully accessible with the main training room located on the ground floor. There is a wheelchair accessible toilet on the ground floor and a wheelchair accessible lift to the first floor.
The certificates are sent from IOSH and can take 3 – 6 weeks.
You will find out on the day of the course. An email is sent the day after the course to confirm your pass.
Dependant on the result, in line with IOSH criteria, it may be re-take an assessment.
